Hans-Henning Judek, Executive Chairman

Mr. Judek has been instrumental in his participation and leadership in the Asia Forum for Clean Energy in the establishment of the successful Asia Clean Diesel LLC project. Currently Mr. Judek is intimately involved in agricultural waste-to-fuel projects in the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, and the U.S.

Mr. Judek’s interest in safeguarding the environment by utilizing waste-to-fuel technologies spans more than several decades. While nascent options were being developed, Mr. Judek has been at the forefront in not only assessing what materials can be utilized in making organic fuels but also marketing those technologies around the globe. In spite of false claims by technology developers, major advances have been made and proven to be able to convert those organic wastes to a drop-in ready fuel; especially true now. Mr. Judek and Verde Visions has partnered with GEFS in the advancement and proven, third party-vetted, technology of converting biomass waste into organic-derived very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO) through a low pressure and low temperature patented catalytic conversion process.

Additionally, Mr. Judek has pioneered in the development and utilization of floating solar panels for electrical energy and thermal energy storage and retrieval (CSP) for the storage of electrical energy; both technologies that will assist in the full-scale environmental package from biomass waste to fuel production for use in various applications such as the maritime industry and over-the-road, mining and construction machinery utilizing VLSFO from organic waste materials.

Mr. Judek, a German national with a law degree resides with his family in Yokohama, Japan and travels worldwide promoting energy production, storage and waste-to-fuel technologies.

Shiva Vencat, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Vencat brings nearly three decades of mining, commodities trading, agronomy expertise in addition to 15 years of innovative green business management.

A Mauritius native, Mr. Vencat has been involved with promoting waste-to-fuel technology in his native land and has made successful presentations to the Prime Minister and to the Minister of Agriculture as Mauritian farmers struggle with low sugar production prices and the burning of trash; while, at the same time, the need and requirements of the maritime industry to refuel their vessels while in port with a renewable low cost fuel such as VLSFO – a game-changer for the Mauritian economy.

Mr. Vencat is spearheading the “Everglades Project” in south Florida, USA for harvesting the sugarcane waste-to-fuel that is environmentally and economically crucial to that region and beyond. The pilot project will be the cornerstone for sugarcane growers, its field workers and for the maritime industry.

Mark Glenn Hodges, Director Sustainability

Mr. Hodges brings to Verde Visions expertise in the development, management, production, and review of multiple environmental, social and health impact statements for the demonstration of compliance with the development assistance agencies, lending institutions and host governments.  Further, Mr. Hodges is very familiar with the US Environmental Policy Act requirements and assessment of climate change concerning risks, impact and mitigation measures critical to the acceptance and success of Verde Visions’ technologies.

As an environmental scientist and specialist in air quality, atmospheric studies and project design and implementation, Mr. Hodges’ technical and financial pre-feasibility studies will be essential for the renewable and non-renewable energy projects that Verde Visions proposes.

Phil Boland, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Boland has thirty plus years of business, operations and logistics management. Mr. Boland has partnered with Mr. Judek on previous ventures in the exploitation of waste-to-fuels marketing and sales throughout the world.

Although residing in Montana, Mr. Boland is a pragmatic leader who ensures organizational clear goal-setting, cross departmental buy-in and collaboration; defining and managing strategic objectives; adept at overall business administration including financial management, policy setting, legal risk management, corporate governance, and project management.

Mr. Boland’s unique industry experience transcends specialty in one sector only; but encompasses areas as diverse as agriculture, straight forward as concrete, multi-dimensional as high-tech, and as passionate as the wine business. With each business having its own uniqueness and business similarities, Mr. Boland has been able to repeatedly find the “soft spot,” and fine tuning the organization through making collaborative processes function well resulting in a positive go-forward position.
